“Hello! My name is Dr. Tracy Hollingworth. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) licensed in the State of New Mexico. I gained my Ph.D. and MPhil from Walden University. I received my Master of Science in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Capella University and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biology from the University of New Mexico.
I have been in the helping profession for over ten years, working with children, adolescents, and adults alike. My experience comes from various schools of thought, through a multicultural lens, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused treatment, and strength-based approach. Meeting the client where they are at and understanding their needs, I have extensive experience working in crisis intervention, trauma-focused treatment, anxiety, depression, mindfulness, and substance abuse. My areas of expertise include exploring trauma and understanding how that impacts current decisions and relationships.
Through the therapeutic process, my goal is to provide individualized treatment and support to each person I work with. I welcome the opportunity and the privilege of providing guidance and support to each person on their journey of self-discovery and healing.
